Windows XP Professional Product - With 1hr in shop hard disk preparation and new, thorough/clean installation, (more so than OEM), this offer is less than the retail store purchase price of $299+tax (link). The product is as well more valuable than an upgrade product and if handled properly may be sold for more than your purchase price even years later with coming upgrades.

Technology Service Agreements for the Office

 

 

The below Service Agreements can be your alternate equivalent of  having a Systems Administrator & Desktop Support Specialist rolled into a single role for a very low IT related cost of $312 per month.  A staffed employee truly fitting the combined roles might range in pay from $55-$85,000 per year on a full time basis. Your cost for the likely more focused and higher level of attention to detail in this case would be a fraction of the cost at $3,744 per year.

 

In our experience, full time internal Support employees do not typically spend substantial amounts of time working in Proactive, Productive, Optimization & Maintenance of Business Tools, Technology and Security for the Office. Your purchased time will be both planned & focused on providing for better performance, improved reliability, enhanced recoverability, and overall proper maintenance of your Business Systems, Tools, and related Technologies.

 

 

Systems Administrator Service Agreement

 

(a 2 hour per month service agreement)

For a Company with an installed Server & Network without a full time System

Administrator on staff, the following services are recommended where

 Company Data, Business Tools, Applications, and Security is of Key Concern.

A Wide Ranging Overview of the System State:

Viewing the Application, System and Security Event Logs – These coded Events and Logs are generated daily at times by the hundreds during normal operations and may contain General Information, Warnings, Security, and Error Events. Important issues are often found here first. These Events are used to find and resolve potential substantial issues proactively.

 

Enhanced Server Side Virus Protection:

Server Anti-Viral/Anti-Spyware Updates: Verification that installed Protective Programs are Updating Properly & Automatically. Manual OS specific updates for the latest definitions & program updates will be installed when available & timely due to current events and spreading Security Risks. 

 

Disaster Recovery Avoidance and Improved Recoverability:

Verification that Full Online Backups are completing properly, verifying Media is still valid and usable for an actual attempt of a Full System Restore in the event of having the need. Additional Recoverability tools, methods & techniques can be provided for adding additional layers of recoverability and company peace of mind.

 

Microsoft Security - Application Updates & Service Packs:

Microsoft Best Practices Implemented - General MS Service Packs & Updates may be varied in reliability and in need. If events or existing Security issues point to the need, a routine determination then deployment of Service Packs and or Updates will be performed on the Server.

 

Desktop Support Service Agreement

Optimization of Business Workstations:

By Operating System a variety of Performance Enhancements above and beyond a standard business machine deployment is available. Performance & Environmental variables, settings, and adjustments can enhance both system, network performance, and long term reliability.

Safety and Protection:

Desktop Machine Antivirus Programs typically catch & remove a good variety of known Virii and perform well in doing so. Some of the most widely spread infections install to locations that are in some cases not entirely cleaned without running additional tools and or manual removals. During periods of increased Risk and Security Alerts your Desktop Service Agreement will provide for more opportunity to catch harmful scenarios from playing out avoiding potential downtime and inconvenience for the office and staff.

Recoverability and Reliability is Improved

Recoverability may actually become likely when needed, more available, and more efficient with these Services in place. One feature of several that may be implemented, (not a standard installed technology in most Server Deployments), for example: if your Exchange Server hardware and or Company Network were to go down, your Company’s User & Customer Mail data is still available to you to view, read, copy, print, fax etc..

Built-In Technology Related Features and Functionality

Additional built in features are available on top of a typical industry standard Server & Networking Services Installation. These features are occasionally utilized and Deployed by staffed System Administrators.  If doing the job properly the work includes implementing technologies providing for both Server and Network Optimization, the implementation of Product Best Practices, and proper Disaster Recovery Planning to name a few..

The goal of deploying these features is to provide for Improved Reliability, Performance & Recoverability in your business. A fair amount of this kind of time and energy needs to be in progress and in place to avoid Disaster Recovery Scenarios, and as well in order to ensure the Optimization of your Business Tools and Technology.  This work is often routinely performed by full time Desktop Support and Server/Network Systems Administrators.
